In today’s video we will make this card, from start to finish including coloring in under 20 minutes. It’s easy using Tombow Dual Brush Pens and blending kit.  Purchase any 10 piece set and receive a FREE Blending Kit! Offer is available 10/24-10/31

No Tricks just Treats Promotion Web Banner_PP_770 x 429

I am happy to announce that I am the guest designer for October for Tombow! Have a look at how easy it is to use these makers:

If you want to win the markers I used then leave a comment here then head over to the
Tombow Blog where you can leave a comment, see full contest details,  and visit the rest of the designers on the blog hop!

I used the Layered Poppy stamp set from Rubbernecker. It is intended to be stamped and then the watercolor layers (which would be great to ink up with the Tombow pens) would be stamped on top but I found the outline layer so striking that I wanted to just color that. I love stamps and markers that are versatile in design, don’t you?

Make sure you I hope you try these techniques on your next card. Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  2. Very nice. I don’t have these markers, but enjoyed watching you use them. I don’t think they were around when I was doing cards or I just don’t remember. I like you program. Where are the thumbs up? Do you have to subscribe to see them? I do get you announcement page everyday to watch your craft for the day.

  5. Lindsey, I enjoyed the video very much. How do you choose the patterned papers to compliment your work?

And if you have time, could you make a video demonstrating your 6 favorite card techniques as mentioned in the last Ask A Crafter?

    Thanks so much, JOLENE

  6. These are beautiful. I was quite impressed when you said about how long you’ve had your tombows from a yard sale and they’re still juicy. These certainly do seem worth purchasing.

  7. Great tutorial video Lindsay. I am new to your site, found you by Tombow USA’s blog hop. I plan on bringing some of my older Tombow markers downstairs to see if my hubby will use them and get inspired, lol. You scored on the markers you got for 10cents each! My markers are about 7 years old and they still work great,… but I am hoping to add the Muted Dual Brush Pen Set by Tombow to my collection of colors options… I need new juicy markers. 🙂 Thank you, Heather
