Let’s Paint Beach Roses!

Tonight I have a quick tutorial for you on painting beach roses. I shared some that I painted at the beach in watercolor last week and I was requested by several for a tutorial so here it is, enjoy:)

Painting does not need to be difficult or complicated. Just play and have fun, it’s only a piece of paper after all. Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. Tried this one. I think it turned out ok. Thanks again for being such a great teacher

  2. Hi Lindsay, 🙂
Beautiful painting! I am so happy you did a video on these beautiful roses. We have a rose bush in our garden with flowers quite similar to what you have painted. Your joy, humour and love of watercolour painting has really inspired me to paint our roses tomorrow. This will be my first time for painting with watercolours, so I will try not to be nervous and, as you say, “just have fun”.
You are such a wonderful artist and I THANK YOU!
    Take care.

  3. I wish I could be as free with my painting as you are. If I did a flower or anything that fast it would look like a big old blob of nothing. LOL Beautiful work as always. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Hi Lindsay!
Thank-you SO much for these videos! I watch them first thing in the morning after everybody leaves and they make me feel good all day long. I have been enrolling in art classes for quite a long time now and trying to paint ” good ” is kind of ruining the fun part of it. I like the way you make it sound so relaxing, saying it’s only a sheet of paper! You encourage me to just paint or draw for the fun of it. And even better: I still go on learning new ideas and can’t wait to try them out!

I also love listening to your cheery voice, after all, I get these mails early in the morning ( I’m living in Germany) and NOBODY here is cheery that early! What a nice way to start the day!

  5. They grow right outside my window so I must do this lesson 🙂 Enjoy your week!

  6. I wish I could draw

  7. This looks like one I should try. You have a way of teaching that makes me think, “I could do this” even though I probably can’t!!! Love it.

  8. Mine does not look like yours. I painted while I was not sitting near my computer. But i had fun and it was good to just play

Tell me what YOU think!
