Happy New Year! {wait…what?}

Hello friends! New years is next week and before you accuse me of jumping the gun I have to tell you that there is a method to my madness. I found myself short on Christmas cards and the ones I sent out were later than I wanted. Rather than send out more late cards I decided to make New Years tags instead!

You can find the supplies I used at Papermart. Watch the video to see how I made them:

Wouldn’t it to be fun to receive new years cards or tags like this?

Supplies:

Shipping tags, star garland, tinsel wire, tulle from Papermart and the Party Hat Cat rubber stamp set from Lost Coast Designs. Now the reason I am sharing this project a week early is so you have time to make them.  Go you! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  2. Oh Lindsay I wanted to also ask you a question about Gamsol, I dont know if it was you or someone else on youtube that said you could use gamsol with colored pencils to blend. I looked all over Michael’s yesterday and could not find it, would it go by another name or what section of a craft store would I find it.

  3. So glad I am not the only one still sending cards. Instead of a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, my cards have now become Happy New Year and an early Merry Christmas… LOL

  4. Lindsay –
    HaPpy New YEar!! Not a cat fan – but that “chat dans le chapeau” is a hoot! Curious if the checkerboard stamp is still around and where you found it. Great for steampunk & grunge cards. Love your posts and your vid’s (especially those with your “Fly Girl” Lorraine).
