  3. Another watercolour rose – Just saw one on a different blog – how funny. Just like buses, you go ages without seeing one then two come a long right after one another LOL!

    Happy WOYWW!

  5. I must try to catch one of your tutorials! I am trying to do a dash round the desks and it’s taking me ages today: I just have to keep stopping to look at all the wondrous work going on. I love watercolours and I love peonies so this is a fab post! Julie Ann xx #35

  6. I didn’t like to watercolor much, (I do like what other people make though!) too much messyness and cleaning of brushes. But somehow I’ve been (sort of) watercolouring more and more…by stamping distress ink on an acryllic block, adding a bit more water, and then paint. And cleaning brushes in between colours. Also, I’ve recently purchased water soluble (is that the right word?) crayons, they are fun as well! Who knows, next year I’m watercolouring for real!
I’ll stick around and be more and more inspired 🙂

  7. Thanks so much for the explanation on “waterblooms” I really need to understand the why so that I can try not to do it in future paintings. I imagine there are times when the bloom has its own arty effect. But I am a long way from that … thanks Sandra @12
