Happy Friday night folks! Tonight I have an easy project perfect for your weekend (when you are not making paper beads that is LOL!) It is an easy fish-knot bracelet and you can actually use large hole paper beads on this project!
I used ivory and black rat-tail cord from Papermart for this, they have the cord for $8 a 200 yard spool in the 2mm size I am using (yep, cheaper than what I said in the video!) in a variety of lovely colors. You can use any large hole beads you like in this project or do the knotting with no beads, it is up to you!
How easy was that? This rat-tail cord is so useful for jewelry making and general crafting, I keep it on hand in several colors! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

Cool bracelet Lindsay!!!

So nice !! I thought making bracelets was more difficult and longer ! Great to make and sell on my booth !
Can you tell me if these “rat cord” are waxed cotton cord ?
Thanks for the idea !

No, the rat-tail cord is nylon cord:) If you burn the ends of cotton cord it will light on fire LOL!

Hi Lindsay, I found a very frugal product that I want to share with other crafters. I have been using the Rangers crafts mat on my work surface for several years now and have enjoyed it’s performance. It was well worth the $19.00 that I paid for it and was going to purchase another one for my traveling art bag when lo and behold, as I was browsing through a general mail order catalogue, I spotted a set of two oven protectors for $7.95. It looked so similar to my Ranger mat that I thought I’d give it a try. I am pleased to report that the mats are exactly the same as my Ranger. They are even quite a bit larger at 23″x16.25″ – all for $7.95! SCORE! Now I can have a mat for all of my work stations. I ordered them from http://www.Lakeside.com. Hope this lead helps other crafters save a few dollars that can be spent on other craft room supplies! Kathy
