mwahahahaha! That is the evil laugh I make when I figured out how to duplicate a store-bought tool or supply…I’ll get to that later but first here is a pic of my work-space for Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Hmm, I’m sure there is a desk under there somewhere….

Quick Tip, see the dumbbell on the back of my tripod? The back leg is raised up so when I tip my camera down I get a straight-on birds eye view shot of my work area with little parallax (perspective) distortion. Then I can flip the video around if I need to later with no weird angles. The dumbbell keeps the tripod from tipping over.   2. I had watched the other yesterday, and those pink foam rollers kept coming to mind as I came out of my ‘dream sleep’ this morning. Those might be available too, and could be cut to different widths. Now I have to head to K-Mart, Walmart, or Shopko to see if they are still available. They could be converted to a foam brayer also. I have the skewer sticks that should work with them, or a small dowel if the center hole is too large for the skewer. I love your videos 🙂

  5. Great idea. That is one tool that I do not have!!! I think I have some of those old pink foam rollers in the back, far back, of the closet that Patricia Walker mentioned. They may work as well.

  6. I have been pondering since yesterday about this roller dilemma and I came up with A. those foam beads (just like you said) and B. spongy hair curlers! Now If I can only figure out how to make a nifty handle….

      2. Ruth, simply poke a hole in a round foam bath block (or use a round fun-foam bead) and push it on a BBQ skewer then roll it in ink and roll it on your project! If you click the link on the right hand side of my blog “my crafty videos” you can watch the videos on youtube, for some reason no everyone can watch them on my blog, weird.
