Happy 4th of July! {make a snazzy shirt!}

Howdy folks! We have sun for the 2nd day in a row, yipee!!!! Per usual we have no plans on the 4th except to watch fireworks and light some sparklers but I am OK with that. Here is a scrapbook page that is featured in the July 2013 issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts magazine:

DCF 1.0

I used glitter from Papermart to stamp, paint and glaze on the project. The glitter is fine and great for the glitter sheet stamping too and only 99 cents a big tube!

Last year my kids and I made the T-shirts (and shoes) we wore to the parade. It is easy and you can see how in the video below.  I used fabric spray paint from Oriental Trading, you get 6 colors for $8 and the sprayers work really well.

Well that’s all for me today. I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday. Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

    1. yes;) I painted a chipboard frame with blue acrylic paint and sprinkled on blue glitter into the wet paint, let dry. Then I coated it with paper glaze (diamond glaze or crystal effects, that sort of product)

  1. Hi Lindsay! Love your blog, and your videos. I have a question about the Camcorder you recommended – the Samsung HMX-F90. I got one on sale yesterday (score!), and wondered if you would consider doing a little video tute? I would be FOREVER grateful! 🙂

    1. I probably could do that, I’d have to shoot the video of me using the new camera with my point and shoot but I will try;) It is pretty easy to use. I did not bother with the software that came with it though, when I upload a video I simply go to youtube and select the video from there instead of using the “share” button on the camera. The still shots it takes are pretty good too!
