Havin’ a party? Here is a fun idea for centerpieces and favor boxes that are quick to make, look great and won’t cost you a lot of money:
I used these inexpensive supplies from Papermart: Scrunch Roll With Glitter, Burlap Jute Mesh Ribbon, corsage ribbon, Frosted Flower Top Boxes, Glue Dots, bakers twine, large unstrung merchandise tags, homemade shimmer spray, a waterbased marker, stamp and stamping ink, and wood buttons. As always you can substitute supplies for what you have on hand or for items that match you’r theme. Make it your own! Here is a quick video to show you how easy it is, have a look:
Let me know if you have any questions! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and til next time happy crafting!

I never would have thought of putting the glittery corsage ribbon with the burlap ribbon! Duh!!! Also, I never thought of turning the favor box with the little “flower” closure to the bottom! another Duh!! Thanks. I watch your videos before anyone elses .

Hi Pam, he is much better after surgery, thank you for asking;) I have found deals on envelopes in the clearance endcaps at staples (their regular price is high though) sometime the Dollar Tree has A2 envelopes, 20-50 packs, check often and stock up wen you find them! If you have leftover scrapbook paper that you are unlikely to use (you know the leftovers from the big 180 sheet stacks) you can make envelopes with that, just open up an envelope and trace it on the paper and cut it up and fold it or invest in a template, I like the rip ‘n flip templates from green sneakers because they are so quick and easy, I can make a stack of envies in minutes. I’ll have to do a video on them so you can see, I have a die cutter with lots of envelope templates I designed but still I reach for the green sneakers template;) I hate to spend big $$$ on envies when I have not so awesome SB paper bought and paid for. Another thing to try is ask your local card shop when the sales rep comes in and turns over the display because I hear-tell they give away the envelopes of throw them out, you might score big there! Maybe a local printer could get you a deal on a box of envies too….
