Howdy friends. I’ts Wednesday and time again for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday. I apologize as I won’t be able to visit many desks this week. We are still a midst the health issues here. There is a downside to being an optimist, you think, OK we will get through this week and we are golden! Then wham! Nope not quite, OK really just a few more days and good as new…nope…I never learn. I do think a week from now things will be a lot better, we have surgery this week so please send all the positive vibes you can our way. So anyway I made a little de-stressing kit, as in calming down not as in making things shabby LOL! I put my mini set of Caran D’ache watercolor crayons, a waterbrush and some watercolor postcards in a Ziplock bag and I can pull them out when I need a creative release. I sat on the porch and painted the other day, my kids joined me but I don’t know what they did with their paintings. I thought I would add some stamping to them, I stamped some squares on the rose one and was nonplussed with the result.
Other than that there are odds and ends from other projects around. The dumbbells are on my desk because I use them to weight down my tripod when I shoot a video. I have decides to just turn on the camera sometimes when I make stuff, it it is any good I’ll post it (even if it isn’t that good LOL!) no pressure videos and blogging for the summer. I hope I have uplifting news to share next week, we have a surgery to get through so wish us luck and thank you for all of the wonderful messages of support last week, I truly appreciate them;) Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

Good luck with surgery. Hope everything turns out ok and you get thru the week just fine.

Wishing you success with the surgery and a speedy recovery for all (because these things effect the whole family.) It is great to have something creative handy so you can de-stress whenever the need arises….I took my crochet with me when my hubby was hospitalized and just having that to pick up brought me moments of peace. Take care,

Your positive attitude will get you through. The de-stressing kit is a great idea. Can’t believe you’re still posting in the midst of everything. Sending you good vibes, and prayers to God for all to be well and soon. Life is like being in a boat in the ocean. Sometimes the water is calm, sometimes it is choppy, but you are always in the water. The older I get the more I realize how fast things can change and it can be scary and daunting, which causes me look more to God for his help and strength. He says that he resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. And when things are hard, grace will always lighten the load. Much grace and peace to your and yours.

Here’s a little positive vibe I heard today in a podcast: “When Principle (which is another name for God in my religion) is in operation you don’t need to wonder or be anxious.”
So for me in this situation, I think that God is with you at all times. You need not feel worried or anxious. The operation is part of a plan that will bring good to you and into our experience. There is divine Love (another name for God) everywhere–in the home, street, hospital, doctor’s office. You’re embraced. Hugs, Roberta

The worst part of health crises is the waiting. What a great way to de-stress and help the waiting seem not quite so long. We should all carry a “survival kit” like this. Continued good thoughts for a successful outcome for all.

Healing vibes and strength to you and yours for the coming days…try not to set a ‘deadline’ for all being well, it rarely works this way..am so familiar with this, my Dad does it – ‘this time next week I’ll be up and about’…and crushed when he isn’t… One day at a time gal, and it will pass. xxx
