Here is another quick technique using the shrubbery stamp from Lost Coast Designs:
Watch the video to see how easy it is!
You can take more time than I did for truly stunning results but I don’t think it looks bad for 5 minutes of work, do you?
Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

so pretty! Thank you for sharing your tips!

Inspiring, as always Lindsey, thank you. A little tip for you – ! don’t know how it’s done or if you can do it with your new camera, but I have watched videos where the colouring or repeated techniques are played fast forward. If you can do this you wouldn’t have to worry about taking your time over a project. Just a thought! x

This is gorgeous, Lindsay! What a dramatic effect, with the vibrant colours against the black background. When I first saw the picture I hadn’t a clue how you’d done it, and I’ve never seen this technique done before. The white embossing looked pretty good without the colour, too! I haven’t got any copics or other permanent markers, and for the first time I feel sliiiiightly tempted to get some!!
A lovely result.

Wow, you are sure getting your money’s worth out of that stamp. Thanks so much for today’s video. Loved it and want to go try it.
I also have a question for Wednesdays. I can’t use rubber stamps. I have a real hard time lining them up more than once. I use acrylics and am fine. I know you don’t use acrylics much. I really want an Asian set. Who would you recommend I order it from? I am in Canada and only have Michael’s near me and they have almost no stamps and definitely no Asian ones. Looking forward to your guidance.

Since you live in Canada try Local King rubber stamps, their designs are beautiful, affordable and versatile. They are rubber mounted on cling foam so you use a clear block just like you do with clear stamps and you can see the outline of what you are stamping unlike wood. They also carry matching dies for their stamps if you like that. Here are some cards I made with local king stamps: https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2013/06/08/stamp-huffing-chalk-backgrounds-osa-sketch-227/

hope that helps! I also really like About Art Accents and I think they ship internationally, there is a link to them on my sidebar;) They charge actual postage and sometimes have deals on postage. Lots of 50% off stamps too, they sell unmounted;)

Hey! I found the acrylic bended base at Impression Obsession. Guess I just thought the heading was for something else. Such a confused mind I have,- ordered the mini for $15 plus s/h. Excuse the BF!
