Hello there! Time again for another peek at my workspace. I finished up a bunch of projects over the weekend and took everything off my big bench and re covered it with brown paper, man, that feels great! Then I put my cutting mats back and hooked up my torch which hadn’t seen use for the past few months! I have my watercolors out because I just filmed a video on using watercolors to stamp, it will be up by tomorrow at the latest;)
You can also see the legs of my tripod in the photo, yep, it is time for another episode (yes, Lindsay’s having an episode again!) of Ask a Crafter where I answer the questions left on my last WOYWW post and ASK a Crafter Video, here goes!
So if you have a question ask away in the comments section and I will answer it next week! If you want to see more crafty desks pop over to Julia’s blog the Stamping Ground and see the big WOYWW party! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

I always think I should try to come up with a question but I find you answer most that occur ro me already 🙂
Happy WOYWW!

Thanks for visiting my blog 🙂 Your workspace looks great with all the little spaces to store your stuff. I still lack that.

I listened to your video while doing cuts on my cricut. You did a great personal interview. I feel like I know you better. I love your explanation about glycerin, it’s like having inside information.

Here’s another question. Can you explain the difference between dye based ink , alcohol inks and pigment inks. Are there any more than that? I never know when to use which one. Thanks.

Selling stuff you make is like getting paid to have fun! Even if you don’t make a profit, you get money to replace what you used and make more fun stuff. Sounds like a win-win to me. I’d love to get paid for my fun.
The sneak peak of the book illustration: awesome job–you are so talented.
I love these ‘ask a question’ videos–I always learn something. And I can listen while i do the dishes and not have to worry that I’ll miss seeing something. And if I do need to see something I can stop and replay the video. Another win-win.
Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Hi Lindsay,
Just back in town and happy to get my frugal fix! Thanks for always being so generous with your knowledge. My question this week is…Do you have a “cheat sheet” on determining what size paper one should use for making an envelope for an odd-sized card? For example, I made this adorable 3×6″ card and fumbled thru several sheets of paper to make the envelopes for it. I have templates for typical sized cards but the odd ones have been a bit of math that escapes me:)
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks a bunch!
Love & blessings,
Marie
