WOYWW: I was naughty…

And here is the proof:

Let me just tell you about my day. As soon as I put my jacket on to run to town it started to pour, really pour, like biblically.  I had to go to town to buy glass for a framing job and get some toys for the cub/girl scouts Christmas toy collection. So, out I go only to discover I grabbed the wrong keys (husbands spare car keys) and not only could I not drive but I was locked out of my house. So, I broke in via my basement studio (AKA glass shard obstacle course) and retrieved the correct keys only to go back outside and find that my car battery was dead! Ack!

But then my day got better, A friend came to may rescue to jump-start my car (thanks AMY!) and I went strait to my mechanic (Thanks JOHN for getting me right in!) and left 45 minutes later with a fresh battery and since I remembered to bring my laptop I finished a new SVG kit which I will release later this week if I have my act together…that’s a big IF folks.

Then I bought my glass, 2 sheets of 30″x30″ and while I was waiting for it to be wrapped I perused the Promarkers and I could not resist the 5 colors that I think looked amazing together…plus the glass guy gives me a great discount 🙂 Must be my charming freakin’ personality LOL!

Then I realized that I was running low on orange beads and on a rainy day there is nothing like a scoop of bead soup for brightening it! Well 4 scoops-o-soup, 4 barrettes  a pair of chandelier findings, a strand of jade chips, 3 ring blanks, a package of silver ear posts and 2 yards of barb-wire leather cord (talk about naughty LOL!) later I left the store feeling a bit guilty but happy with my new bag of shiny things!

Don’t worry, I did not forget to buy the charity toys 🙂 OK, by know I have probably earned the collective “who cares!” from all of my readers…anyone still reading?…well then…anyway I share this crafty foolishness because it is What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday hosted by one of my favorite British gals Julia at The Stamping ground. I like to think of it as my “Craft hoarders enabling group” and I am certainly in that category myself today LOL!. If you want to see more crafty desks you need to check her out! Did you notice I was watching Doctor Who in my Kindle…probably not.  Oh how I love the British!

I fully intend to have this mess cleaned up by next woyww…there I said it, you can hold me to it! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

One of the most important things about being frugal.. is to know that you absolutely must spoil yourself occasionally or it will lead to MASSIVE budget blow outs in the future.. so.. in effect you actually *saved* money in the long run 😀 (this enabling has been bought to you by the Omyn, have a nice day – try the veal.. im here all Wednesdays ~)

  6. That sounds like my sort of day!! It’s the only advantage to having the sort of lock that we have on the front door – you can’t lock yourself out!!! But you do have to remember to lock it behind you (that is sometimes a problem) ! You so deserved the treats to make up for the awful start to the day!!

  10. Happy WOYWW. At least you were dressed! I managed to lock myself out of my flat many years ago when I was only wearing my dressing gown. No mobile phones in those days (and I probably wouldn’t have had it with me anyway), so I went to a phone box and rang the police. They came out quickly and broke the door down (which involved 2 large men leaning on it!). I am paranoid still about doors!! Great shopping trip. That barbed wire is brilliant. We have got plenty of the real stuff on the farm! Ali x #71
