Another Card with a Doily on it!

I’m making sure I get my money’s worth on that Cheery Lynn doily die I bought at the stamp show last month LOL! Today I snuck down to my craft room while the house was quiet and made this card using the sketch from Oriental Stamp Art:

The lantern stamps are from BoBunny and they set was another stamp show purchase, it was a steal of a deal at $3! The card came together quickly because All I had to do was stamp the lanterns on cardstock and then from paper scraps and piece it. All the paper is from a 6×6 My Minds Eye pad. The thank you stamp was one of my first ever stamps I got 12 years ago by PSX. So my tip for today is to mix the old with the new and let your creativity blossom! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  5. So, I think you need to film a video on your secrets to get a quiet home. ROFL! 🙂 You know that one would be a hit. I am a empty nester and my home is still not quiet. Furbabies never leave the nest and are worse than toddlers. Last night I went to grab a paper towel and my cat was setting in my StazOn ink.

I love that doily die. You should rename your blog the Enabling Frugal Crafter, lol. I love every detail on the card. So pretty.

Thank you for showing the Mega Mount block. I have a hard time using acrylic blocks or wood mounted stamps. I have lupus so the blocks hurt my hand. I fell in love with your Mega Mount block because it had a handle. I really wanted to try it first because I had lupus so it’s one of those things you need to hold before you buy. It’s not sold in my area. I found the Fiskars Stamp Press and bought one last night. It made a world difference and I am stamping like crazy again. BIG THANK YOU! I was seriously thinking of giving up stamping because it hurt too much. My DH snagged my acrylic blocks and is thrilled to have them. I don’t know why he wants them but he’s happy. 🙂
