Yet another way to make backgrounds & WOYWW

Here is something fun to try! Stick a bunch of small clear stamps on a  large block and viola! Custom background stamp! That is how I made the background of this card:

In case you want to see the technique in action here is a 1 minute video:

I have had so much fun making backgrounds this week:

And since it is Wednesday it’s time for WOYWW:

Nothing fancy, just the mess on my table while filming the video. Next week I’ll try to remember to post a photo of my kids art workspace. I am getting it nice and tidy before summer vacation because when they take time to create I get bonus crafty time too! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. I love watching your videos. I am just recently unemployed so have to watch my pennies and find your tricks and hints fabulous. Keep up the good work. Your backgrounds are just beautiful by the way.

  2. Lindsay, I LOVE your tips and your amazing ingenuity, but I did want to ask a favor. Would you consider one change to the intro and exit on your videos? On most of them the music is still playing when you start talking. I want to hear EVERYTHING you have to say, but the music is competing with your voice. If it’s possible to just lower the music, I think that would help a lot. Thank you for all of us who no longer have perfect hearing.
Oh and I’m asking this for any future vids, I certainly don’t expect you to change the ones you’ve already made.

  9. Inspiring (and frugal :)) as ever. I have one of those big blocks but can’t ever seem to get it to print clearly. Just watching your “action” as you do it was a help. So thanks for that 🙂

    Happy WOYWW
