Frugalcrafter Podcast #2: Homemade Gifts

Howdy! Are you looking to make some nifty handcrafted gifts this Christmas? Maybe you are doing a craft fair and you need some quick products to sell. In today’s podcast we will talk about a few of my favorite gifts to craft and hopefully give you a few ideas.

If the player above is not working you can also listen to the show here.

Next week we will talk about organizing your craft supplies and craft space! If you want to share your best organizing ideas or ask a question just leave a comment on this post or email me at craftypodcast@yahoo.com. As always I will answer any questions you email me {or I will do my best!) so don’t be shy, drop me a line!

Here are some of the resources I mentioned in the podcast:

I answered a question for a listener, Karen, who wanted to know how I printed my scrapbook photos in various sizes. I use Picture Collage Maker Pro software for making photo collages and printing photos at different sizes, you can download a free trial by clicking here. Here is a scrapbook page I made using the software to print my photos, then I cut around the photo collage and adhered them to my 12×12 paper and scrapped the page traditionally:

Here are some of the craft supplies I mentioned:

Soap making supplies and Lip balm bases at The Chemistry Store

Glass paint: Folk Art Enamels by Plaid

Free PDF calendar maker at pdfcalender.com

Polymer clay info and ideas from Polyform Products

If you have any questions about anything I mentioned on the podcast just leave me a comment and I will get right back to you;) Til next time happy crafting!
