Playing with my new airbrush!

Howdy! I got a new Letrajet Air Marker to play with last week. It is an airbrush that you can snap your Promarkers into and spray apply the marker ink! It is so cool! I am going to get a little more practice under my belt and then make a video on using the air marker but today I wanted to share a card I used the Letrajet Air Marker on-dig the background:

I had embossed the white cardstock background and swirled on some watercolors and it just did not “pop” so I grabbed a few shades of blue promarkers and started spraying the background. It was very easy to use once I got it hooked up to my air-compressor. All I had to do was click in the marker, turn on the air compressor (or you can use a can of compressed air) and press the air lever down. You can gradually build up rich colors with this too. Quick Tip: I did not have any light blue rhinestones for the dragonfly body so I used my Promarkers to color my clear ones!

And to give the fish a “wet look” I painted on some clear glitter fingernail polish, it dries really fast and doesn’t smear my stamping ink 😉

I hope you liked this airbrush sneak-peek, I’ll be sure to use this new toy a lot in my cardmaking! Be sure to check back soon for a demonstration video! Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!
