My girls’ birthday is this week and I decided to make a pretty banner for their party so I used (what else?) the Pretty Banners SVG set from Lindsay’s stamp Stuff to quickly and inexpensively make this one:
Gosh is it hard to take a picture of a banner but you get the idea 🙂 I want to let you know that everything at Lindsay’s stamp stuff is 30% off now through Friday so stock up on cute Stamps and fun SVGs while they are on sale!
All I did to make the banner was cut the scallop banner file (I got 6 on a sheet of double sided 12″x12″ paper) 24 times with my Cricut and SCAL software to make enough pennants for happy birthday and my daughters names and then cut letters out with my cricut to top rosettes made out of paper (all the paper I used is from a GSD Studios pack I found for $5 at Big Lots-score!) Wanna lean how to make a rosette? It’s easy:
You can make decorative banners for birthdays, Halloween, baby showers and any special occasion and they are so pretty-just hard to photograph. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget about the 30% off September Sale at Lindsay’s stamp stuff going on right now.
Til next time happy crafting!

The banners came out beautifully, I bet the girls are excited!
