Tea Time!

I made this card for my MILs birthday, she loves the color burgundy and it is an easy color to work with. I used stamps from About Art Accents/Art Neko and paper from K & Co to make this card and envelope set:

Stamps: About Art Accents, Ink SU!, tool for making envelope: Scor-pal

I inked up the paper cut teapot (the set this stamp comes from is on sale right now BTW!)in rose red ink and rolled the edges of the stamp in burgundy before stamping (rock and roll technique). *Tip: Be sure you coat the rubber with ink, tilt it to the light and make sure it is all shiny, then you know you will have good coverage. Also hold the stamp to the paper for 30 seconds, this will ensure gook ink transfer.

I decided to dress up the inside of the card too, I love this photo corner stamp, it is breathtaking, I rock and rolled it in the same ink as the teapot.

Stamps: About Art Accents,Ink: SU!, Punch: Fiskars

Please note, some of the stamps I am using are from About Art Accents and some are from the Art Neko website, these companies have joined together and are in the process of moving to one site.  Until then if you need to order from both sites just send Barry and Annette and email (info on the About Art Accents homepage) and they can combine your orders and shipping to save you as much $$ possible. Also they post special sales too so check it often! They are good folks over there:)

Thanks all for today, thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!

  1. Lovely cards Lindsay!
And I hope you had the most wonderful day on the 10th – I’m sure you were spoilt rotten and received love and gifts and hugs. Happy birthday from one July girl to another!
