There are so many cute clip art designs out there. Wouldn’t you like to cut some of them with your Cricut? Here I used clip art from the Heartland USA set to die cut the large coffeepot and a coordinating tag (printed) as an embellishment.
The sentiment is from the Coffee Talk digital stamp set from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff. This card qualifies for the challenge at Annabelle Stamps and Creative Card Crew!
The first thing to do is to choose some clip art, I am using the coffee pot from Heartland USA, by the way these are the images used in the Just because Cards Cricut cart! Clean images with bold colors work best.
Now load you paper into your cricut and cut! Once you get the hang of it you will be converting designs in no time!
Tips for success:
Start with good quality clip art (buy a nice set with clean designs.)
When you use the magic wand tool you may have to adjust the tolerance so you can select just the color you want, play with it a bit until you have it right.
Last but not least, do not share the files you convert, this is not creating a design, you are CONVERTING it, it is not your designs so don’t share them without permission but do buy lovely clip art sets and convert them for your personal cutting, it’s fun!
