I had a great time yesterday teaching a colored pencil workshop for the Society of Decorative Painters! We FINISHED 2 colored pencil paintings in just under 7 hours (lunch break included!) It was such fun to spend the day with these lovely ladies, here is what we painted:
If interested the illustration for this piece can be purchased in my Fancy Flowers digital stamp set. Pencils: Prismacolor, Paper: Canson Mi Teints
This illustration for this painting can be found in my set "Pretty Primitive", click on to photo to go to my shop:)
How about trying a colored pencil painting on colored paper? It is great fun and the Lindsay’s stamp Stuff digital stamps make excellent patterns! In fact many of my digital stamp designs started out a sketches for my paintings. I do hope you will give it a try!
*PS, I am thinking of branching out into fully detailed painting instruction packets, if that interests you let me know by leaving a comment 🙂
If you are looking for projects from my Junior DT today you will have to wait until Thursday, they have moved up the ranks to Sr. DT members and will post their fab work with the rest of the team on Thursdays! Thanks for stopping by and till next time happy crafting!
