Fancy Favors!

In a few months the wedding season will be in full swing. My niece is getting married this year and when she asked if I could come up with some cute favor bags I jumped at the chance! She inspired my Pretty Favor SVG set, they are pretty and elegant and cut very quickly on the Cricut machine and they will cut perfectly on the “Baby Bug” (the 6″x12″ cricut) or you can cut several at a time on the Expression. You will need a computer program such as SCAL to cut these with your Cricut, here is a coupon for $16 off if you do not have it yet: 2237421. Of course you can resize them as you like but the ones in the example here are about 4″ wide x 5″ high and 1 3/4″ deep, perfect for holding mints or candy!

Quick and easy favor boxes from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff!

The stamps on the boxes are from the Fancy Flowers digital stamp set, you get 9 high quality digital stamps in png and jpg format. I watercolored the stamps, that made the boxes quick to make! To watercolor a digital stamp simply print it in a color close to what you will paint it so if the printer ink smears you will not notice. I used Colorific metallic watercolors that were a dollar at a job lots store!

You can use your favorite border punch on the top edge of this box before assembling for a lovely touch!

This is the design that my niece picked, she has a diffrent color scheme though, I’ll share a pic when her’s are done 🙂

The cut-in handle on this box eliminates the need for ribbons! So quick and easy!

For extra flair you can cut a window in any of these boxes and back it with acetate for a peek-a-boo treat box!
