A “mice” time of year!

Just a quick post today:) I made these Christmas Cards back in June when I had an hour to spend on a card LOL!

Stamps: House Mouse, Ink: SU!, Markers: Bic Markits, Paper: K&Co, Die Cut: Cricut

To make the card bases I simply welded shapes from the Accent essentials cartridge in Cricut Design Studio (be sure to flip one of the shapes so the design will be symmetrical) and click “cut”.  Tip: size one half of the card the way you want, click weld, click copy, click paste, click flip then use the double-ended arrow on the side of the shape to slide it over so it is next to the first shape but still overlapping on the edge where the card will be folded. Try it with any shape, it’s fun!

Stamps: House Mouse, Ink: SU!, Diecuts: Cricut, Markers: Bic Mark-its, Ribbon: Target, Slides: Dollar Tree

I stamped the images with Stampin Up! basic black and colored them with my Bic Markits, The Card with the Gingerbread house took about an hour to color and was featured in Just Cards Holidays magazine! I know it seems like a lot of time to spend on a card but even at age 33 it is still fun to color 😉 So if you are feeling stresses this holiday season grab your stamps and markers and color, it is very therapeutic!

Till next time happy crafting!
