Gift Calendars, a sale and freebies!

Happy Thursday! Woah, what a week, it has flown by, I have been cranking out stamp sets (3!) trying to get samples done and my kids had a snow day but by some miracle I have a project for you, but first I want to tell you about a sale I am having in both of my stores:

Yep, that’s right by 2 stamp sets, get 1 free! Now here’s how it works, if you are shopping at the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff Shophandmade store you order your two sets, when I email you your order I will ask you what stamp set you want for free, easy peasy, and you will still get a free single stamp for every $5 you spend! *Amendment to this sale, since I sell single stamps in this store I will include them in the sale as well. To keep it simple if you orderd a total of $30 worth of product from my Shophandmade store when I email you your stamps I will ask you to pick $15 woth of free product, that way you can pick what you like and keep it less confusing…I hope;)

If you are shopping at the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff Shop at MyGrafico you order your two Lindsay’s stamp sets and when you go through the checkout you need to write the Lindsay’s stamp set you want for free in the comment box and you will get that set emailed to you separately. This special is available in my shop only so you cannot combine sets from other designers at MyGrafico to get the deal;) Let me know if you have any questions.

OK now on to the project! I released two sets of calendar stamps this week. They are great for using as the title for a monthly wrap up page or for making calendars, I make one for my parents and MIL each year and they are always a hit.

Calendar cover: Bookplate element: Lindsay's stamp Stuff (Embossed Mats Set), Papers and other embellishments: Shabby Princess, Cover stock, Comb binding: Office Supply store

To make the base for my calendar I printed a free calendar from this site. You can customize it to your language, country and font preferences, it is very handy! I print out the 12 months and place a blank cardstock on top and bind the stack together, there are step-by-step instructions here on how to bind your calender with a Crop-a-Dial. then I simply make scrapbook pages and adhere them inside the calendar. Now the coolest thing is that if you digiscrap you likely have 12×12 or 8×8 pages already done, well if you resize them to 8.5″x8.5″ and paste them in a new 8.5″x11″documents you can add the calendar toppers which are 8.5″x2″, slide them together to make a 8.5″x10.5″ page, print, trim off the strip at the end and it will fit your calendar perfectly allowing room for the binding! 4. I love this idea! And this is a great gift for just pennies. Basic Grey (I think it is) has a calendar kit at Michaels and it’s like $20 – you can create something just as nice for way less than that. Thanks for the links and you did a great job!!
