Before my twins were born I printed out 2 calenders starting with the month they were born till their first birthday. I pasted them to scrapbook paper and made coordinating pages so when my bundles arrived I could write the milestones on the calenders and paste the photos on the facing pages. It worked out so well I made such an album for my sister who is expecting her first child this month:

Here is the title page of the album. I put the baby shower invite on the page. The title and mat were cut with the cricut/scal software.
I used my handy dandy cricut ( doodle charms cart and of course SCAL software and you can save 10% with the code: 1847253) Here is a little peek at some of the the album pages:

I cut all the photo mats 4 1/2"x6 1/2" so she could pop in 4x6 photos easily!
To print your own calendar visit this site. Remember this book is going to be filled with adorable baby pictures so you can keep the pages simple. I spent most of the day Saturday making the 27 page album but you could do it over a few evenings. To see this idea applied to a wall calendar click here and here.
Thanks for stopping by and till next time Happy Crafting!

Lindsay, that’s so cute! I haven’t finished my DD’s album yet (she’s due in Dec.) I think I’ll add a few pages like this. TFS
