More Free Digital Stamps!

OK now that I have your attention we are in week 3 of “Find the Freebie” with the Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff team and as a little bonus I am giving you the funny little digital stamp that I used on this card just in time for Fathers Day:

Wouldn’t it be cute with a Home Depot gift card inside? I used embossing markers to color the image then sprinkled it with embossing powder and blasted it with the heat gun. Do one color at a time so your powder doesn’t mix and so the ink doesn’t dry before you get a chance to sprinkle it. First I colored the metal part of the tape measure with grey, then sprinkled it with silver EP and heated it. Then I colored the orange and sprinkled it with clear and heated it etc. Embossing markers are juicy markers that stay wet on the paper long enough to emboss, mine are by Tuskeno but try the markers you have first because they just may work for you.

To “Man Up” the card I embellished it with washers, nails, screws and rope. My “magic mesh” is just drywall mesh from the hardware store that I painted.
