A farewell to a beloved author.

I know this isn’t a crafty post but I just found out that Sci-fi author Michael Crichton died yesterday of Cancer at age 66. Each of his books is a gift. My favorite, and the first I ever read of his is Next, how happy I was to fall in love with the work of such a prolific writer. It was a treat to read The lost World (nothing like the movie) and Sphere (never saw the movie) and Congo (WAY better than the movie!) He had a knack for writing stories that are steeped in science fact that the fiction seemed believable. After all he went to Harvard Medical School.
