10,000 Posts and a free Digital Scrapbook kit and SVG pack!

Holy cow, someone actually reads my blog…who’d a thunk it? I am thrilled that I hit 10,000 visits to my blog and reading your sweet comments always brings a smile to my face. To say thanks I an giving you a digital scrapbook kit I created. I created it for two reasons: 1. I wanted to see if I could (you would not believe my excitement when I learned how to make my stick pin element metallic and shiny) and 2. I needed something to scrap my sister’s old girl scout pictures with. As I looked at the kit though i realized that it would be great for back to school pages too! Here is a preview:

Id love to know what you think since this is my first kit and I’ll know whether or not to attempt a second one! Thanks for visiting and you comments are always appreciated! The Digi-Kit and Scal Pack are 2 separate files so you can download just the one you want or both if you like.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing your SVG files. How do I add them to the SCA program? The same questions about fonts.

    Thanks

  2. Hi Carmen,
you need to unzip the files first to use them, they are individual files. You also need to unzip any font before you use it. when you unzip the SVG files save them someware you will remember then when you open SCAL click “file” then import SVG then browse your hard drive folders to fine the file you want. For fonts, download them to the desktop and right click on them and choose “extract files” and chose the “Fonts” folder usually found in the “Windows” folder. Then you may need to install the font by going to “My computer” (an icon on the desktop) and under file chose install font then select the font you want to install from the list. When you open up SCAL the font will show up in your font library! It’s easy after you do it once!

  3. Love the digi kits!!!!! The SCAL shapes are perfect as well. I do have a question about them. When downloading hte file, it came up as a .rar file instead of svg file. So I’m wondering if I need to do something else before bringing it up in SCAL.

Thanks so much and congrats on the 10000 visitors.

  4. Wow! I have downloaded the free version of DS long time ago and just keep setting my computer back to use it. Now I have been seeing this SCAL and just started researching it this morning. Wow, if I had this SCAL program and inkscape (which is free somewhere) I can design it in scal and cut it with my trial version of DS, is this correct? I would like to email you or you can email me more about this I hope you have the time to do this as I am anxiously awaiting a response. Oh and the kit is wonderful as I am a digi scrapper too and have lots of files that I could convert but don’t know how to do that. Any help would be great and thanks thanks thanks.

Love the layouts you made, too! I like both the digi kit (well done, by the way) and I love the SVG files for SCAL- that’s a cool bonus!

Keep up the good work- looking forward to more inspiration from you!
