Santa S’mores, a Freebie & 50% off!

Well, now that was a fun attention getting title! I wanted to share the “Santa S’mores” I made (and sold out of) at the craft fair last weekend. They are cute, fun and very easy to make because you can download the sheet of 12 s’more labels I made for this project for free here!

DCF 1.0

Also I made chocolate covered pretzels, basically dip pretzel rods in chocolate and drizzle on more in other colors. You can get crazy and add sprinkles too..whatever floats your boat:)

You will need: Graham crackers, chocolate bars, marshmallows (I tried to find Christmas marshmallow peeps when I was buying supplies but they were not out yet but ACmoore had Christmas trees and snowmen…that would have been cuter than the shaped marshmallows I used), zip-top sandwich bags, 6″x6″ squares of Christmas scrapbook paper and a stapler.

Here’s how:

  1. Put ingredients in baggie and zip shut.
  2. Fold the scrapbook paper in half, place over the zipper top and staple.
  3. Tape label to SB paper topper.

Easy, peasy and a cute gift for classmates, teachers, scout leaders or the bus driver. Who doesn’t want a s’more?  That’s why they are called s’mores because you always want some-more!

Now that I have lured you here with candy :) I will shamelessly plug the 4 day sale in my shop, 50% off everything at Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff! Crafting templates, digital stamps, painting kits, SVGs, party kits, you name it, if I sell it it’s on sale!

Fun-Fair!

Howdy! I love this time of year, the warm days, crisp nights and then weekend full of fun at the local county fairs, late summer at it’s best! I didn’t bring my camera to the fair this year because I took over a hundred photos last year and decided it was high time I scrapbooked them:

I used my new Fun Fair SVG set to cut the tickets (both single and the border strip) with my Cricut and SCAL software (SCAL on sale for $59.95 for a short time!)and my On the Line digital stamps to make the banner.

Here is a close up of the first page, I laid out my photos with shape collage software and added ribbons to the flowers on the bottom of the page. Stamps and Die cuts are from Lindsay's stamp Stuff.

Here is a tip: I used digital paper and printed the paper on the inside triangle of the banner only. I layered my stamp over digital pattern paper from Lettering Delights (all their pattern paper packs are on sale for $1 so stock up now!) then used the “magic wand” tool to remove the inside of the banner so I could see the paper, then I clicked around the banner, an inverted my selection, flattened the layers and hit ctrl+x to cut the paper pieced banner and pasted it as many times as I wanted in a new document. I only printed the paper I needed, no wasted ink or paper and it is easier than trying to print on pattern paper scraps AND I can make it match my layout!

Here is the second page, love to cram in a lot of photos!

This page qualifies for the following challenges: By the Cute and Girly (indian summer), The Craft Garden (Bunting/Banner),  Daisy Doodles , ginger Loft (anything goes), Flourishes (tickets), Lexis Challenge (flower Power), Really Reasonable Ribbon (flowers) and  Tuesday Throwdown (celebrate fall).

Here is a peek at the sets I used:

Thanks for stopping by and til next time happy crafting!
