Howdy folks! We are totally snowed in today, oh my the snow drifts are up to our porch railing! We are staying in at least until the snow stops falling and the winds die down. What a great time to make valentines! These are the ones my daughter Lila will be handing out:
They are really easy too and inexpensive since I got all of my supplies from papermart. I used their bakers twine in red and teal, polka dot and shimmer pink tulle, printed satin ribbon, and large unstrung merchandise tags. I also used stamps, ink and glue from my regular stash. Have a look at the video to see how I made them:
Pretty easy huh? I brought my tray of supplies upstairs today and put it at the Kitchen table so the kids could work on the valentines util the wind slowed down enough for them to get out and play. Sometimes it’s just nice to hang out with the kids and craft, dontcha think? Stay warm and safe this weekend especially if you are getting hammered by this blizzard, til next time happy crafting!
