Howdy crafters! It is still Tuesday night here but in Jolly Old England it is Wednesday and that means it’s time for What’s on your work desk Wednesday! I was sent a tube of 5 minute Epoxy from the Gorilla Glue company and I had a ball all weekend using it to make pendants that will be turned into pins and necklaces at the craft fair I will be doing in December:
I had always been a little intimidated to try two-part epoxy but it is really easy to use, sets up fast and is super-duper strong when it is cured, you can even use it for resin charms but it is best as a glue because it is really thick. Here is a video to show you how I used it…be warned, I’m even more giddy than usual {but that might just be the glue fumes LOL!}
Here is a peek over at my other work surface, recently cleaned. I had been cutting a lot of glass over the weekend so I needed to wipe down the counter and vacuum all of the glass dust and shards:
Don’t you dig this awesome caddy? The local hospital gift shop closed and my friend Glenna (she’s a nurse) snagged 2 of these awesome displays for me to use in my craft fair booth of for studio storage! Thank you sweetie!
Currently my gelatos are in there along with a few odd completed projects that I will share one I get them packaged up all pretty
Well, this is a bit long-winded for me (I’m a faster talker than typer) so I will wrap it up and direct you to The Stamping Ground if you want to have a peek at other great crafty desks…maybe next week you will join us, eh? Till next time happy crafting!

You have all of the gelatos, I want those, I only have 2 metallic and the black and white. I want more. Love your space. I was 16 or 17 in the comments section.
great looking crafting space. Thanks for the video on the gorilla glue. Wish I had seen it when I first used it. Have a great week. amyis200@gmail.com
You know what so much fun about your blog–U actually show us Ur REAL-NESS I mean it takes real guts to show us-(oh how critical we Woman can be) but what also so wonderous is how Ur ALL over the specturm of the Craft world, w/your kids/w/vendorsa sending you thir products–You seem to ACTUALLY use all of Ur supplies cause u do go fromone end to the next.
Say what ever happended to that BIG Machine, was is some sort of sticker maker???or what was it? and mainly what does it do, cause when you were unpacking it(box seems goog for chipboard),”it”looked as if “it” could dance!
Thanks Lou! I figure if I can’t be myself an have fun then what’s the point:) The big machine you refer to is the Xyron Creatopia, I used it to make the homemade washi tape 2 weeks ago. It was nice to have won that but I don’t recommend it because it is expensive (as are the refils of adhesive) and it very bulky and hard to store.
Like the storage containers. I lucked out with one from the Art shop when it closed. Also got paper rack Hooray!
What a great friend to get you those two caddies!!!! They are just fab!
Better see if you have done a”how to” use the gelto’s……….. video, i have a few i bought in the usa but they are not really available in the uk, i have only done a couple of things with them!!

Good to know how to use the gorilla epoxy. Pretty beads and fun video.
Amazingly, I’ve been subscribed to your YT channel for a while. The little icecream bowls are your desk are so cute. I would display it on my desk too.
FUN, FUN, FUN!!!! Your videos are just so much fun. It doesn’t really matter what the heck you are showing us… rofl… I know I have missed out on some great techniques (on videos) cuz I couldn’t listen to the slooooow speaker doing the demo. That’s why I love you, your energy is just contagious!!! Actually, I could care less about Gorilla Glue epoxy… lol
You make a cute Fraggle!
Why should we not let our children play with molten glass? Your no fun! ROFL!
My DH taught my son glass fusing. DS was going off to school in a couple of weeks. He was sixteen at the time. He went off to college early. My DH is outside doing all this glass fusing. It’s turning into a huge nightmare and glass is blowing up everywhere, lol. I think my DS was excited to run off to college. Get away from the crazy exploding glass man & the molten glass. He was going to study the ultimate molten glass which was volcanoes. He went into medicine instead. I blame my husband for this, lol.
Love your new beads. Gorgeous! I will have to try Gorilla Resin. I am use EasyCast right now. I was so excited when the microwave kiln came out. I wouldn’t buy it because there were no reviews. Then you got the kiln. I was so excited when you showed it off. I still haven’t got the kiln.
I am still waiting and it’s been two years. I blame my DH for this too because he wants a real kiln to go with the microwave kiln. Jeez! Men! ROFL!
If you get big kiln you can do pottery too and I saw a really cool cutting board simply made by melting a wine bottle on it’s side! I’d get a gas kiln though, it would probably be cheaper thn an electric, they are electricity hogs!
Thank you so much and hugs for the recommendation of a gas kiln. I forgot all about about electricity hogs. My DH will be so appreciative. I know when we go buy the kiln we will be in that moment and come home with something goofy, lol.
I’ve used the epoxy before but for more heavy duty projects, never thought about it for crafting. Though interesting, I’m not sold on it, just too messy and mess is something I don’t need more of! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina
Interesting, that glue dispenses the right mix, a good idea. Loved your vid. Don’t bother with decaff you’re more fun this way! Happy WOYWW Cindy #44
Yes Fraggle Rock! I loved that show! Love your videos too _ thanks for sharing…
Hi Lindsay – I love your video. I like that your happy nature shines through. As a newbie to producing videos myself I know what it takes to produce one and you’re a natural – I seem to say SO and ummmm a bit to often at the moment – I am getting good at editing them out!! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 65
Your workspace is fantastic, and yum, look at all those gelatos! Was just talking to my friend today about the resin, and she keeps telling me how easy it is, but I’m still not sure I believe her . . .

You might get 2 messages coming through now….. the other one dissapeared on me. Now that is not fair you have 2 storage units, you must share. Are Metallic Silky Pastels the same as Gelatos? if anyone would know it is you. They are like butter to play with.
Dont ever worry about glue sniffing of the effects it has on you. I love your bubbly nature and slight energetic ways.
Happy WOYWW
Hi Eliza, I bet the silky pastels are the about same if they are watersoluble. They are also very similar to Crayola Portfolio oil pastels that are waterbased and inexpensive $8 for 24!
Love your videos, they always make me laugh and I always learn something.
I was thinking your pigtails looked like the Buffy doll from the TV show Family Affair that my sister used to have. You have the right color and everything. Now to dress you in a sky blue polka dot dress and granny glasses and you could be her twin! LOL! Gonna go find your video of the washi tape. Found two smaller version of my Xyron tape machines recently & I can get refills for them!
