Patriotic fun for you & the kids!

Happy Canada day to all the Canadians out there and for all of the folks from the USA you still have a couple of days to prepare for the 4th. I made a patriotic card using my new Sweet Treats 2 stamps. I simply collaged the png files of the apple pie, cake plate, and pie slices (be sure the full pie is behind the cake place as the reflection bubbles are opaque) printed and colored with my copics. Did you know you can layer and resize png stamps in MS word or Open office, you can!

Stamps: Lindsay's stamp Stuff, PP: DCWV, Markers: Copic, Word Art: Lettering Delights, Brad: Around the block

Now here is a fun project for the kids. I simply printed digital stamps from the Patriotic collection on cream cardstock, used a glue stick to adhere it to chipboard and cut it out with my Sizzix puzzle die. The kids can put together the puzzle, color it and play with it. A little extra 4th of July fun! And I am putting the patriotic collection on sale for 50% off so you can grab it for only $2.50!

The puzzles are easy to make and keep the kids entertained too!

These projects qualify for the following challenges: ABC, Cards, Gingersnap (shades of blue), One Stitch at a Time, Paper Makeup (party favor-puzzles), Practical Scrappers (border Punch), Artful Inkables (anything but a card w/ red, white, blue: puzzles), ColorQ and  Wee Memories.
